Only Green FAQ’s

1. Will CBD get me “high”?

While the short answer is no, there are some nuances to this which are good to be familiar with before purchasing CBD oil. THC is the compound found in marijuana that makes the user feel “high”, CBD is a far less potent psychoactive compound. This is great news for individuals that want to experience the health benefits from CBD (anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, regulation of digestive & nervous systems etc.) without getting high or breaking the law.

Our full spectrum oil contains a minute amount of THC, (<0.2%) not enough to get an individual ‘high’. However, for individuals who want to make sure there is absolutely no THC present at all, we also provide a broad spectrum oil and pure CBD oil. Neither of these oils contain any THC whatsoever.

Although CBD wont get you “high” like you might expect from ingesting THC, you may experience an internal calmness when taking CBD. It is important to note that we all have an individual endocannabinoid systems. This means we all process the CBD we intake differently & therefore experience its effects in a subjective & personal manner. Some people may report feeling blissful states induced when taking CBD, while others will feel no psychological effect whatsoever.

2. Is it safe to drive under the influence of CBD?

Yes, as long as the product adheres to the UK regulations (under 0.2% THC), it is legal to drive.

“You can drive legally after vaping or consuming CBD as long as long as you are fit to do so” -Metropolitan Police.

All our oils are third party tested and adhere to UK regulations, so you are free to drive legally after taking any of our CBD products.

3. Can CBD be used as an alternative to conventional pharmaceutical medicine?

In some cases yes, & in others no.

To give one example, clinical trials show great promise in using CBD as an epilepsy treatment.

Important note: If you are taking any prescribed medicine, we always recommend you check with your doctor or pharmacist before switching to CBD, or incorporating CBD into your treatment plan.

4. How long does each bottle last?

Each bottle contains roughly 200 drops, so if you’re taking three drops twice a day, one bottle will last roughly 33 days.

However, perhaps you’re only dosing two drops twice a day, in which case a bottle will last 50 days.

Perhaps you are only using a couple drops a day to aid with sleep. In that case a bottle could last up to 100 days.

5. What’s the difference between full, broad, & pure spectrum CBD Oils?

Full spectrum is our standard range of CBD oil. The full spectrum CBD oil includes a small amount of THC (<0.2%, in line with the UK legal regulations) THC on this small scale is not intended to get the user high. It is used to improve the overall effectiveness of the CBD, CBC, CBG, CBN, etc. This is due to the entourage effect.

For more information on the entourage effect visit the following link;

If someone wants to make sure they are in taking 0% THC but still want the other CB components  present, they can opt for the broad spectrum oils. The broad spectrum oils contain all the same Cannabinoids as the full spectrum oil except for the THC & THCU.

If someone wants to make sure they are only taking CBD with no other compounds, we have a pure CBD oil available.

6. What’s the difference between high and low percentage tinctures?

The percentage of CBD oil per tincture dictates how much CBD content will be in each drop. One drop of liquid from a 10% CBD bottle will be 5mg, 30% would be 15mg and 50 would be 25mg.

You want to pick the correct strength for your system, this may require a little bit of experimentation, but as a general rule a higher percentage oil would be recommended for those individuals who have experience of CBD and THC being in their system &/or for those individuals who are looking to treat chronic symptoms. A lower percentage is recommended to those individuals who are new to CBD or are treating mild symptoms.

7. What’s the correct dosage for me?

Dosage is something that may require a little bit of experimentation. In terms of percentage we recommend those who are new to CBD products start with the 10%. Other people who are used to having CBD and THC in their system may look to begin with the 15%. If you are looking to treat something serious like epilepsy or Parkinson’s, the 30% or 50% may be more appropriate for you. Though we would always recommend trying the 30% before moving on to the 50%.

8. Will CBD show up on a drug test?

As all our products contain less than 0.2% THC it is highly unlikely That they would be flagged up on any drug test. However, it is important to consider that THC is a controlled substance & some professional positions take a very strict stance when it comes to drug testing

For individuals who want to be 100% certain they have nothing in their system that will flag up on a drug test, we offer the broad spectrum oil. The broad spectrum oil contains 0% THC so there is 0% risk of it showing up on a test.

9. Is CBD addictive?

According to a report from the World Health Organization, "In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential`. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD." A recent study in the journal Neuropsychopharmacology concluded that "acute CBD alone is unlikely to significantly impair daily functioning or workplace performance."

10. Is it safe to give to children?

Although CBD has been used in many clinical trials and shown great results treating children with various issues, we do not necessarily endorse the use of CBD for children.

CBD oil has been shown to be effective for the treatment of seizures in children with certain rare types of epilepsy. But it isn’t FDA-approved for any other health condition in children.

Anecdotally, many parents have reported that CBD oil is beneficial for their children. However, when it comes to your child, take a buyer beware approach. Always talk to your child’s paediatrician before starting any new supplements or medications.
